Elizabeth Scholten

Mrs. Scholten

Second Grade Teacher

Mrs. Scholten attended Pennsylvania State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in Multicultural Settings and received an additional certificate for Middle School Mathematics. Prior to graduating, Mrs. Scholten took a short hiatus from the university to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts for acting where she graduated with an Associate of Occupational Studies degree. She later transferred her PA teaching credential to CA when she moved out west and has since completed her English Learner Authorization. Currently, Mrs. Scholten is clearing her California teaching credential through Concordia University. She loves teaching and strongly believes in a Classical Christian education for children since the Trivium matches the developmental stages of each child’s brain. Outside of teaching, Mrs. Scholten enjoys traveling, hiking, crocheting, Bible study, and spending time with her wonderful husband. She is also a speedy Wheel of Fortune puzzle solver with many years of practice growing up with her family. Mrs. Scholten is grateful to be a part of such a beautiful community here at The Geneva School.
