Head of School
Gina Bonecutter is the inaugural Headmaster of The Geneva School. Previously, Gina served as Head of School for Grace Classical Academy in Laguna Niguel. During her six years at GCA, Gina doubled the enrollment, brought academic excellence to the program evidenced by double-digit increases in the school’s test scores, and successfully brought GCA through two cycles of accreditation under the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Before entering the academic administrative field, Gina ran an educational therapy practice. She specialized in working with twice-exceptional students. That is students who have both high IQ and learning disabilities. She worked to alleviate dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, processing disorders, working-memory disorders, and ADD/ADHD. It was in this field that Gina saw the power of stimulating the brain to enhance cognitive function. Classical Christian education applies this stimulation by aligning teaching methods with childhood development.
In the last six years, Gina has successfully utilized her background in educational therapy to assure the success of the students in her care.
In 1996, Gina graduated from The Master’s University with a degree in Nouthetic Counseling. In her spare time, Gina enjoys hiking, reading, walking her two crazy dogs, and cooking for and spending time with her four adult boys who all had the pleasure of attending Grace Classical Academy and/or The Geneva School.
