Kate Chang

Mrs. Chang

Ancient Humanities | Seventh and Eighth Grade Writing Teacher

Mrs. Chang is thrilled to be joining The Geneva School family this year. She grew up in Cerritos, California, then graduated from Cornell University with B.S. in hospitality administration. God led her away from a corporate hospitality career with a passion for teaching the Bible at her campus church. With a desire to teach the Word in unreached nations, she moved to Nagoya, Japan, where she taught K-4th grade at a Christian international school and also met her husband. Upon her return, she completed her Single Subject Teaching Credential from Biola University. Her teaching experience ranges from teaching SAT/ACT English for high school students at various academies to middle school English Language Arts at Santa Ana Unified School District. Outside of school, she and her husband are members of Berean Community Church and are teachers of their youth group.
